Agra Congress Protests Against Chief Election Commissioner Over Vote Theft Allegations

In Agra, the Congress protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar intensified. District Congress Committee workers marched on foot from Subhash Park to the Collectorate via MG Road. During this, the workers raised slogans and demanded the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar. Congress leaders and workers also demonstrated at the Collectorate. During the protest, Gyanesh Kumar was masked and handcuffed. The Congress alleges that the rights of the people are being compromised through vote theft in the election process. Meanwhile, some workers, including Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee Organization General Secretary Anil Yadav and Mathura District President Mukesh Dhangar, reached Gyanesh Kumar's ancestral house in Vijay Nagar Colony. Here the workers shouted slogans and blackened the main gate of the residence. Along with this, the words Gyanesh Kumar Gaddar and Vote Chor were written on the gate. The protesters demanded the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner. The police force was not present at the spot at the time of the incident and the protesters left after a while. The police reached the spot with CCTV cameras and blackened the social media.
