Ahmedabad Student Allegedly Adds Chemical to Classmate's Water Bottle After Verbal Altercation

AHMEDABAD: A Class 6 student at a private school in Maninagar area of Ahmedabad allegedly mixed a chemical substance into a classmate's water bottle following a verbal altercation, raising concerns over student safety on school premises.Ahmedabad city district education officer Rohit Chaudhary confirmed the incident, which took place at Durga School around four days ago. "The two students had a verbal exchange a few days earlier. Teachers immediately informed the school management, and the student underwent medical treatment.Given the seriousness of the incident, the school management reviewed CCTV footage installed on the campus. Officials said the footage showed a student mixing a tablet into the water bottle.
