AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi to Enter Uttar Pradesh Politics Ahead of 2027 Assembly Elections

Political parties have started their preparations ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh 2027. In this sequence, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has entered the state politics. He will join the party's program in Bahraich on 14 June 2026. Party spokesperson Shadab Chauhan said that Asaduddin Owaisi is the voice of the poor-majuls, he will expose the policies of the government as well as the Samajwadi Party, which does not stand with Muslims despite having so many MPs and MLAs. Shadab Chauhan said that currently the Samajwadi Party has 111 MLAs and 37 MPs, but Muslims are only used to vote. Today Asaduddin Owaisi is only the voice of Muslims and Majlis. While the BJP has accused Asaduddin Owaisi of polarization. Considering the Muslim population in Uttar Pradesh who now plays a decisive role in many seats in the elections, AIMIM has not stood in many of its candidates in the previous elections.
