AIMIM Offers Alliance to BSP Ahead of UP Elections, Mayawati Rules Out Alliances

Several months before the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party national president Mayawati has ruled out an alliance with any political party in the upcoming elections. However, once again the BSP has received an offer of alliance. This time the offer has not come from the India alliance or the NDA alliance, but the party of Asaduddin Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad and the supremo of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen. Owaisi is scheduled to hold a rally in Bahraich on 14 June. AIMIM state president Shaukat Ali, who arrived in Bahraich earlier, has made a big statement about the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Talking to reporters, he said that AIMIM wants to fight the upcoming assembly elections together with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). After this statement, new discussions have started in the state politics. Shaukat Ali said that a strong political alliance of Dalit and Muslim votes can be formed, on which he claimed that the Samajwadi Party can bring a big change in the politics of the state and can challenge the BJP.
