Akali Dal Waris Punjab De Announces Candidates for 2027 Punjab Elections

In order to announce the candidates for the year 2027 elections in Punjab, the Akali Dal Waris Punjab De has announced two more candidates on Wednesday, August 12. Amritpal Singh is lodged in Dibrugarh Jail, Assam under NSA. Both the declared candidates were jailed with Amritpal under NSA and NSA was removed from them only last year. Both are currently lodged in Punjab jail in connection with the violence at Ajnala police station in 2023. Among the declared candidates, Amritpal's associate and Punjabi actor Daljit Kalsi will contest from Ajnala in Amritsar and another associate Gurmeet Singh Bukanwala from Moga. The organization has declared Indira Gandhi assassination convict Kehar Singh's son Satwant Singh as its candidate from Bassi Pathana. Let us know that Akali Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh had won the election from Khadoor Lok Sabha seat in the year 2024 elections.
