Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge had called the India Alliance MPs for lunch on Wednesday (October 7). SP sources claimed that they did not get an invitation. Congress said all opposition MPs were invited. Now SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has reacted to this. Answering questions from the media in Lucknow, the SP chief said, "Lunch diplomacy... some one lunch will be a bit.. in the coming time, you will hear that there will be dinner diplomacy.. may be called for tea.. we all will sit and eat samosas. Then some samosa slogan will be raised. There is some bad thing in it. Diplomacy will continue like this." Let us tell you that opposition MPs gathered for lunch at a restaurant named Sagar Ratna on Janpath in Delhi. This lunch was attended by Mamata Banerjee's TMC, RJD, CPM, JM and independent Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal. No SP leader attended this lunch.
