Ayushman Card Process Simplified for Eligible Recipients

People will no longer have to wander to get the Ayushman card made. The health department is issuing BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) operator IDs to the quota holders for this. The process of implementing this has started. This will facilitate the cardholders. Under the Ayushman Yojana, treatment of five lakh rupees is provided free of cost to the needy people. Under this scheme, one member of the family or all the families together can get treatment up to five lakh rupees free. There is a campaign by the government so that the benefits of this scheme reach all the needy people. There are 1,364 quota holders in the district. They have access to every village and locality. With the joint efforts of the supply department and the health department, the quota holders of all the tehsils can be made co-ordinators with the health department team to make the golden card of the eligible people. The goal is to make the golden card of more than 2.5 lakh eligible cardholders in the district. Along with the 74,000 card holders, six members of Antyodaya have been made.
