Bangladesh Sends Mangoes to India's West Bengal and Tripura as Symbol of Goodwill

Bangladesh has once again taken a step towards strengthening its'friendly'relationship with India by maintaining the'mango-sending tradition '. The neighboring country, which is struggling with political turmoil, has sent a consignment of mangoes to West Bengal and Tripura as a symbol of goodwill. On the one hand, 100 kilograms of mangoes have been sent to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, while on the other hand, 600 kilograms of premium mangoes have been sent as a gift for the Tripura government and the governor. Let us tell you that this exchange of mangoes between India and Bangladesh is not a new tradition, but this time its timing and political context have made it special. 100 kilograms of mangoes sent to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari reached India on Tuesday. After this, they were handed over to the Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Kolkata. On Wednesday, the Deputy High Commission delivered this consignment of mangoes to the Chief Minister's office. This gift is also being discussed because recently some officials of Bangladesh had raised objections to such political gifts to the government of Bangladesh.
