Baramati: Polling for the Baramati Assembly by-election passed off peacefully on Thursday (Dec 23 ).This is the second by-election since 1991, after the accidental death of the late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. मिळाले.सुनेत्रा Pawar is seen as the'Promising Face of Baramati'in this election. मिळाले.सुनेत्रा Voters expressed their stance through today's polling. There was enthusiasm in the rural areas of the taluka from the morning. There were queues at polling stations in villages like Songaon, Jhargadwadi, Dorlewadi, Gunwadi, etc. Women, youth, and senior citizens actively participated in the celebration of democracy. There was a wave of sympathy in favour of Sunetra Pawar in many places. However, the voting percentage was somewhat reduced due to the hot summer and one-sided contest. Polling was also peaceful in Sangvi area. Out of the total 6,044 voters, 3,716 voters cast their votes in the morning.
