Bihar Cabinet Ministers: Half Have Criminal Cases, Most Are Millionaires

There has been a reshuffle of the cabinet in Bihar. New ministers were inducted on 7 May. But a report has come out which is alarming. According to the report, about half of the ministers of Bihar have criminal cases registered against them. Some have serious crime charges. On the other hand, 90 percent of the ministers are millionaires. The report also showed that there are very few women in the cabinet. There are only 5 women ministers. All these figures show what kind of people are in politics. The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Bihar Election Watch have made this report. These two organizations tell people the true information about politicians. The report analyzed 31 ministers. Four ministers could not be analyzed because they were different for some reason. 15 ministers have criminal cases registered against them. This is 48 percent, almost half. Out of this, 9 ministers are accused of serious crimes. Serious crimes mean big crimes. Such as corruption, violence, embezzlement, etc. Two ministers and Pramod Kumar Chaudhary are not members of the Legislative Council because they have not yet given the details of these two ministers.
