Bihar Flood Crisis: MP Slams Central Government, Praises Rahul Gandhi's Support

Independent MP from Purnia, Pappu Yadav, hit out at the central government over the growing flood threat and students'agitation in Bihar. He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has supported the students'movement from Bihar and told the minor student leader that his fight now is his own fight. Pappu Yadav also said that Rahul Gandhi is the major voice standing with the children and students of the country at present. In a verbal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the MP said that the central government is not concerned enough about the serious flood situation in Bihar. The flood situation in Bihar is continuously deteriorating, but the expected seriousness on this issue from both the ruling party and the opposition is not visible. Pappu Yadav took a jibe at Prime Minister Modi, saying that he is enjoying the programs and activities abroad while Bihar is struggling with the challenge of floods. He referred to the proposed visit of the Prime Minister to Delhi University. He said that it has come to the fore for the first time in the last 12 years. Rahul Gandhi should listen to the growing resentment among the students and students of Bihar.
