Bihar Government Appoints Two Cricketers as Deputy Superintendents of Police

The General Administration Department on Friday issued the official order for the appointment of the two players. The appointment has been made under the Bihar Outstanding Players Direct Recruitment Manual. The government decided to appoint the two players to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police after the recommendation of the selection committee. For fast bowler Akashdeep, a resident of Sasaram in Adarohtas district, this time is no less than a dream. On the one hand, he has been assigned the responsibility of DSP by the Bihar government, while on the other hand, he is going to tie the knot on June 24. His marriage with Akshita, a resident of Manikpur village in Dehri-on-Sone, will take place in Varanasi. This achievement before marriage has become a matter of pride for his family. Both Mukesh Kumar and Akashdeep have made Bihar proud from domestic cricket to international level. Mukesh Kumar has been a part of the Indian team that won the gold medal in the 2022 Asian Games, while Akashdeep has made a strong mark in the Indian Test team. Both of them have been given the honour of representing Bengal in domestic cricket.
