RJD working president Tejashwi Yadav has once again objected to the payment of social security pensions from the Contingency Fund. Referring to the provisions laid down for the use of this fund, he says that the government should explain why the pension payment came from the Contingency Fund. Tejashwi said that instead of giving a factual answer, the government is acting childishly by issuing a misleading press release. Due to the bankrupt political leadership of the NDA, the state's financial condition has deteriorated. The treasury is empty. Bihar is on the verge of becoming poor due to declining revenue, increasing fiscal deficit, excessive debt, high interest payments. Tejashwi says that Bihar's fiscal deficit has reached 11.82 percent, which should not be more than three percent. The size of the Bihar Contingency Fund was earlier 350 crores, but was revised a few months ago to 10 percent of the budget in any financial year. Therefore, it happened so that the budget of 324 crores can be spent in this year.
