Bihar Governor Nominates Deepak Prakash to State Legislative Council

The formal notification of this nomination was issued by the Governor of Bihar on Wednesday and it was also published in the Extraordinary Issue of Bihar Gazette. That is, Deepak Prakash is a member of the Bihar Legislative Council with immediate effect. Elections to 9 seats and by-election to one seat of the State Legislative Council were held in Bihar recently. At that time it was believed that Deepak Prakash would be given a chance from the BJP quota. When Deepak Prakash's name was not announced, where did it go that all is not well in the National Democratic Alliance. However, Rashtriya Lok Morcha chief and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha kept saying that the minister has been made by the National Democratic Alliance and the BJP has to take a decision, it will be done on time. Meanwhile, when the question was asked to reach the Supreme Court, Minister Deepak Prakash was admitted to the Bihar Legislative Council through the nomination of the Raj Bhavan. The governor issued an order for this nomination on the recommendation of the cabinet. Under Article 171 of the Constitution of India, the Governor nominated Deepak Prakash to the State Legislative Council.
