Bihar MLA Booked for Law Flouting at Private Event in Gopalganj District

Gopalganj: A case of flouting the law has come to light during a private event (Upanayan Sanskar) in Gopalganj district of Bihar. Bahubali JDU MLA from Mokama Anant Singh attended the Upanayan Sanskar (janeu) held at the residence of Mukhia Guddu Rai in Semraon village under Mirganj police station area. Not only vulgar dance was organized during this event, but MLA supporters also openly displayed licensed and illegal weapons. After its video came out, Gopalganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinay Tiwari took cognizance of the matter and after investigation by the Cyber Cell, nine people including the MLA were booked. The janeu sanskar crossed the limits of decency and the show of vulgarity and show of strength instead of traditional rites. Bhojpuri dancers danced to Bhojpuri songs in the presence of MLA Anant Singh, which is now tightening the legal noose.
