Politics continues between Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi, two big Dalit leaders of the Bihar NDA, over the issue of reservation. The opposition says that both leaders have become MPs because of their safe seats. On Tuesday (September 1, 2026), RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav challenged Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi to leave their safe parliamentary seats and contest elections from general category constituencies. Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan has now come up with a befitting reply. In fact, Chirag Paswan's statement was posted by his party's (LJP Ramvilas) X handle on Tuesday. It said that Chirag Paswan's seat is reserved, but not his thinking. The post reads, "Nobody's interest at the cost of anyone's rights, this is true social justice." Four points are mentioned in the X post. It is written, "My seat is reserved, not thinking." Along with this, "I am talking about the justice of the Scheduled Castes-backwards, I am talking about the justice of the general category, I am thinking about the justice of the general category."
