Deepak Prakash, Minister of Panchayati Raj in the Government of Bihar and son of Upendra Kushwaha, has been nominated as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council (MLC). He has been nominated by the Governor Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.) for the seat vacated by the resignation of nominated member Devesh Kumar. RLM chief and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah for nominating Deepak Prakash as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council. He also thanked JDU National President Nitish Kumar, BJP National President Nitin Navin and Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, LJP (R) National President and Union Minister Chirag Paswan, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.
