The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a new candidate for the Bankipur Assembly by-election in Bihar. The party has nominated Neeraj Kumar Sinha. Earlier announced candidate Abhishek Kumar Sinha'Bunty'withdrew his nomination citing family reasons. After withdrawing his name, the BJP immediately decided to change the candidate. Now Neeraj Kumar Sinha will contest the Bankipur Assembly seat from the BJP. With the announcement of the new candidate by the party, the electoral contest on this seat has become more interesting. Born on 1 July 1994 in Patna, Neeraj Kumar Sinha is still 32 years old and has studied up to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). He started his political career by taking primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2006. In the organization, he has performed important responsibilities like booth president, general secretary and BJYM district vice-president. At present, he is the Mandal President of Narendra Bharti Mandal for the second time in a row. His political background is also strong. His late uncle Narendra Bharti is an active worker of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
