Out of 36 seats, 10 seats are reserved for Bakshi Panchayat, 2 seats for general, 4 seats for SC and 1 seat for ST. More than 1 / 5 out of 30 members of the term completed by BJP have been dropped. Due to internal conflicts in some meetings, last-minute disqualification as a Kayak candidate, etc., the announcement of names is being delayed. Party circles say that the names will be announced by this evening. Arjun Khatria has been dropped from the most-watched seat of Kotdasangani in Rajkot district. Raju Dangar's name is yet to be formally announced on the Mauviya seat of Gondal. On the two general seats of Bakshi Panchayat, Sumit Raja, Sumit Sravan, Sumit Makwana, are again getting the ticket.
