The results of the Rajya Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh have been declared uncontested following the Supreme Court's stance. After the Returning Officer rejected the nomination papers of Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan, the contest for the third Rajya Sabha seat in the state has also ended. During the nomination process, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Congress candidate of hiding information about a criminal case / court notice in the affidavit. After examining and hearing the objections, his nomination papers were rejected. With this, all three BJP candidates Tarun Chugh, Rajneesh Agrawal and Mahesh Kewat have been elected as Rajya Sabha MPs unopposed. According to information, all three BJP candidates have received the certificate of victory. All three BJP candidates have reached the Rajya Sabha unopposed. A bench of Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and Justice Atul S Chandurkar in the Supreme Court had sought a stay on the order of the Returning Officer cancelling the nomination papers. The bench cited an earlier order of the Supreme Court.
