BJP Defeated in By-Elections: Jan Suraj Wins Bankipur Seat in Bihar

In the by-elections held in 3 assembly seats of the country, the defeat of the BJP is being discussed more than the victory. Prashant Kishor defeated the BJP in the Bankipur seat of Bihar. Rekha Gupta of the BJP got 44,827 votes. Congress again won the Datia seat of Madhya Pradesh. While the BJP retained the Manjalpur seat of Gujarat. The result of the three-seat fight was 1-2 and the opposition gave a big political message to the BJP. Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, won the Bankipur assembly seat of Bihar. There were 31 rounds of counting, but later an extra round was added. After a total of 32 rounds of counting, Prashant Kishor defeated Neeraj Sinha of the BJP by 19,324 votes. Prashant Kishor got a total of 64,151 votes, while Neeraj Sinha of the BJP got 44,827 votes. Rekha Gupta of the RJD came third with 14,273 votes. This victory is being considered a big success for Jan Suraj in the politics of Bihar.
