BJP Demands Action Over Congress Leader's Insulting Remarks

New Delhi: The BJP has reacted strongly to Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar's statement. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said, "Insulting people, insulting Gujaratis has become the identity of Congress. First Mallikarjun Kharge called North Indians and Gujaratis illiterate. Now Kanhaiya Kumar also insults people of Gujarat, people of Assam and says these are infiltrators. BJP has demanded action from the Election Commission on Kanhaiya Kumar's statement. A video of Kanhaiya Kumar, Congress leader from Bongaigaon in Assam, has surfaced. In the video, Kanhaiya Kumar is saying," All thieves have gathered together and joined BJP. The kingpin of these thieves is Jay Shah's father. "A journalist told me that infiltration is an issue, I said that the biggest infiltrator has come from Gujarat and he needs to be chased away from here along with Himanta Biswa Sarma." Chief Minister Kanhaiya Kumar said that it is necessary to stop the increase in crime graph.
