BJP Fields Ashutosh Tiwari in Datia By-Election

In the Datia by-election, the BJP has fielded veteran leader and organisationalist Ashutosh Tiwari. Tiwari has been the organisation minister of the Gwalior region during the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government and has also served as the chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Housing Board. He is considered to be among the closest leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Originally from the Bhander area of Datia district, he has been active in the Sangh and the organisation for a long time. In this seat, the BJP has replaced one Brahmin face with another. The party has not made a major change in the caste equation, but has put forward a new option at the leadership level. Advertising journalist Devshri Mali says that the BJP has tried to give a new message at the local level by fielding a new face. However, the biggest challenge will be to activate the electoral strategy and organisational network in a short time. According to him, the BJP in Datia has been fighting the election for a long time with the strong support of Dr. Narottam Mishra and his parallel organisational network.
