BJP Gears Up for 2026 Rajkot Municipal Corporation Elections

RAJKOT: The BJP has geared up for the battle for the 2026 Rajkot Municipal Corporation elections. The BJP's Kamalam office near Shital Park in the city will host a gathering of candidates for the next two days today and tomorrow. Today, the candidates for Ward 1 are being heard. By afternoon, 3 workers have expressed their desire to contest in 6 wards. The process is going on till late in the night. The ward will be surveyed tomorrow. On Thursday, April 2, all three wards (11,12,18) of Legislative Assembly-71 in Rajkot as well as Ward No. 16 of Legislative Assembly-68 and Ward No. 9 and 10 of Legislative Assembly-69 will be surveyed.
