BJP Leader Anurag Thakur Criticizes Other Parties, Calls for 'Double Engine Government' in Punjab

Anurag said that the people of Punjab have given a chance to all the parties, but no one has been able to give a permanent solution. He claimed that the BJP is in front as a strong alternative and the state needs a double engine government. He said that if the country can be freed from Naxalism, then Punjab can also be freed from drug and gangster culture. He also alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party came to power on the basis of false promises and now its time is running out. He said that the people of the state are looking at the Bharatiya Janata Party as an alternative for good governance and development. Anurag Thakur alleged that Punjab has been seriously damaged by drugs, rising debt and gangster activities. He also targeted the Congress, the Akali Dal and the Aam Aadmi Party, saying that these parties gave priority to political interests over development in their respective tenures, which led the state towards crime and disorder.
