BJP Leader Calls for Review of Sexual Abuse Laws Amid Misuse Allegations

Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, former BJP MP from Kaiserganj in Uttar Pradesh and former president of the Wrestling Association, made a big statement while addressing the Satyamev Jayate rally. He said that this rally will also be remembered as a protest against the misuse of the law on sexual abuse. He supported the demand of the saints and said that the law should be reviewed. During this time, the former MP said, "Families are destroyed by the misuse of this law, children commit suicide, a network of framing false sexual abuse allegations is active in every district. The saints have demanded that the law should be reviewed so that it is not misused. I am also of the same opinion." Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh targeted the opposition parties and said, "For the last 10-15 year, the opposition leadership does not come to the field with their agenda. Sometimes farmers, sometimes Shaheen Bagh, sometimes women, and sometimes behind other issues at Jantar Mantar come and attack the BJP. The former MP did not dare to attack the opposition parties directly.
