BJP Leader Claims Growing Public Trust in NDA Government Ahead of Assam Elections

BJP National Vice President and Assam election in-charge, Baijayant 'Jay' Panda on Wednesday, asserted that the people of the state are ready to bless the party once again in the upcoming Assembly elections , citing growing public trust in the NDA government’s performance and governance. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s rally in Gogamukh on April 1, Panda said the massive turnout reflected strong support for the BJP -led alliance in the state. “Yesterday’s rally at Gogamukh reflects a clear and growing trust in the NDA’s good governance agenda. He claimed that the NDA government has brought visible development and progress, which has strengthened public confidence. Prime Minister Modi, who addressed the rally, interacted with a large gathering and reiterated the Centre’s commitment to Assam’s growth. The BJP leader said the Prime Minister’s direct engagement with the people further reinforced the party’s connect with the electorate. Highlighting the NDA’s focus on development, Panda said the government remains committed to accelerating Assam’s progress and fulfilling the aspirations of its people ahead of the polls. The Assam Legislative Assembly election is scheduled to be held in a single phase on 9th April to elect 126 members, with the counting of votes set for 4th May.
