BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri has made a controversial statement regarding the protest of students against the NEET paper leak during an event in Delhi. Ramesh Bidhuri said from the stage during an event held at Tughlakabad MB Road that more punchers and key makers were present at Jantar Mantar than students. Ramesh Bidhuri said that punters who use foul language about Modi ji will only have children. Addressing the people at Tughlakabad MB Road, Ramesh Bidhuri said, "Can a daughter or son of India abuse Modi ji? They will be the children of punchers, the family of punchers." Ramesh Bidhuri, born on 18 July 1961 in the historic village of Tughlakabad in South Delhi, is also a 2-time MP from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He belongs to the Gujjar community. He was also made a candidate by the BJP in the 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly election. Ramesh Bidhuri, a former AAP candidate from Kalkaji, contested the controversial'Atishi-Chandra'election on 3 September 2023, but lost to'Natasha'Bidhuri.
