BJP Leader's Wife Accuses Party Leaders of Corruption Ahead of West Bengal Elections

West Bengal Assembly Election 2026: Rinku Majumdar, wife of Dilip Ghosh, a long-time worker of the party and a strong leader of Midnapore, has not been fielded from any seat. Rinku Majumdar has directly accused a section of the party's central leadership and nominated candidates of corruption. Rinku Majumdar has claimed that the image of those fielded by the BJP in important constituencies like Rajarhat-Newtown and Bijpur is not transparent. She told the media that Rajarhat-Newtown candidate Piyush Kanoria is accused of financial embezzlement. On the other hand, Bijpur candidate Sudipta Das is facing a murder case. Rinkudevi asked, "On the basis of which survey did the party give tickets to such'dagis '?" There was a buzz in the party, Dilip Ghosh was not given a ticket to avoid family feud.
