BJP Legislature Party Meets to Discuss Strategy for Monsoon Session

A meeting of the BJP legislature party was held at the state BJP office on Wednesday evening under the chairmanship of Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi. The meeting deliberated in detail on the opposition's strategy for the monsoon session of the assembly beginning on August 6. The meeting decided that the alleged irregularities in the JPSC and JSSC examinations and the demands of the students agitating over these issues will be raised prominently inside and outside the house. The opposition believes that the state government will have to answer on the issue of alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations and the student movement. Due to this, the JPSC-JSSC examination controversy and the demands of the agitating students may become the biggest political issue of the monsoon session. Along with the BJP, other opposition parties including the AJSU, JDU and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) are also preparing to corner the government on various public interest issues.
