BJP MLA's Dharna Demands Better Relief for Flood Victims

On Tuesday (September 29, 2026), BJP MLA from Lauria Assembly, Vinay Bihari, sat on a dharna against his own government. Vinay Bihari, who is sitting on a dharna at the Samadhalaya, has alleged that the flood victims are not getting adequate relief and facilities. He said that he will sit on a dharna till Samrat Chaudhary comes. Vinay Bihari, showing some letters to the media, said, "Itna letter hai.... char patra hai.... which I gave to him together.... two letters to disaster minister Ratnesh Sada.." Vinay Bihari said that there is no such arrangement as there is a disaster. He demanded that polythene, ration and other necessary relief materials should be provided to the flood-affected people in sufficient quantities. He believes that relief materials have reached some areas, but there are many flood-affected areas where people are still suffering. The MLA sitting on the dharna said, "Dukkha hai, pain bhar hai, Raja Hari, I am waiting for Samrat Chaudhary to come down to inspect our area."
