BJP Names Ashutosh Tiwari as Candidate for Datia Assembly Seat By-Election in Madhya Pradesh

The BJP has announced its candidate for the by-election to Datia Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh. The party has reposed faith in Ashutosh Tiwari, giving a big blow to Narottam Mishra. The BJP Central Election Committee has approved the name of Ashutosh Tiwari for the by-election to Datia seat. BJP candidate from Datia seat Ashutosh Tiwari said, "I am a small worker, I have been given a ticket by the party. I express my gratitude to the party. Narottam Mishra is our senior leader, he will also campaign." A by-election is being held in Datia seat in Madhya Pradesh after Rajendra Bharti's membership was suspended. Congress's Rajendra Bharti defeated BJP's Narottam Mishra in the 2023 assembly elections. Ashutosh Tiwari is considered a young strategist of the BJP. He is among the active and prominent office bearers of the BJP's Madhya Pradesh organization. He is also considered to be instrumental in strengthening the organization at the grassroots level.
