BJP Names Candidate for Manjalpur Assembly By-Election in Gujarat

The BJP has announced its candidate for the Manjalpur Assembly by-election in Gujarat. The party has nominated Satishbhai Govindbhai Patel. The BJP Central Election Committee has approved the name of Satishbhai Govindbhai Patel for the Manjalpur Assembly by-election. The seat has fallen vacant after the death of senior BJP MLA Yogesh Patel. The Manjalpur Assembly seat has been held by the BJP for a long time. The late leader Yogesh Patel belonged to the Patidar community. Yogesh Patel won the 2022 Assembly elections with a huge margin of victory. The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party has approved the name of Shri Satishbhai Govindbhai Patel from Manjalpur for the 2026 Assembly by-election in Gujarat. The nomination process for the Manjalpur seat in Vadodara has been going on since 6 July. As per the notification issued by the Election Commission of India, polling will be held on 30 July. 13 July is the last date for filing of nominations. The notification for the by-election will be issued on 6 July and the notification for the by-election will be issued by the respective states on 3 July.
