BJP Plans Silent Processions on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day to Counter Congress Claims

While the BJP has taken the gamble of emoting nationalism on the pretext of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the party is preparing to raise a hue and cry against the Congress by taking out silent processions on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day on August 14. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will join the procession in Lucknow and give a new voice to the pain and tragedy of Partition. The party will tell how the then Congress leaders created a situation of bloodshed in the country in their haste for power. Cultural sites like Nankana Sahib, Panja Sahib, Katasraj, Hinglaj Mata Mandir, Sharda Peeth and Taxila were taken away from India. At the same time, no sympathy was shown to the people suffering the tragedy of Partition. On this pretext, the BJP will also respond to where the Congress has been saying that the RSS had no role in the freedom struggle. The party will take out silent processions on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day on August 14 across the state.
