Today's Chanakya and News18 both predicted a victory for the BJP in Bengal. The actual results of these elections will be out on May 4. Today's Chanakya poll predicted 69 seats for the Congress-led UDF and 64 seats for the ruling LDF in Kerala, and 7 seats for the BJP. The same agency gave 192 seats to the BJP and 100 to the TMC in Bengal. The total number of assembly seats in Bengal is 294 and the majority mark is 148. Today's Chanakya predicted 102 seats for the BJP and 23 seats for the Congress in Assam. The total number of seats in the Assam assembly is 126 and the majority mark is 64. The agency has predicted a return of the DMK with 125 seats in Tamil Nadu, but 63 seats for the actor-turned-politician AIADMK and 63 seats for the BJP in Tamil Nadu.
