BJP Prepares for 2027 Uttarakhand Elections, Names Chief Minister as Party Face

Uttarakhand is scheduled to go to the assembly elections next year in 2027. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has already started preparing for it. BJP national president Nitin Nabin has given a clear indication that the upcoming elections will be fought under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. That is, in the 2027 elections, the party will field Chief Minister Dhami as the face. In an interview, he said that the central government has presented a strong model of development and good governance in the state. According to him, Chief Minister Dhami has increased transparency in the administration by meeting public expectations and has done a remarkable job in providing basic facilities to far-flung areas. The BJP president also said that Uttarakhand has developed rapidly in recent years. Although he acknowledged that every state has its own challenges, but on the scale of improving the governance system and the living standards of the common people, the state has made positive progress under Dhami. Significantly, Dhami's working style has been praised by the top leadership in the past as well. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised his work during his visit to Haridwar.
