The BJP has questioned Rahul Gandhi's absence during the Congress's'Students'Goonj'campaign on the paper leak issue. BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla hit out at Rahul Gandhi, saying he should not be called the Leader of Opposition but the'Leader of Tourism ', as he is more busy with foreign trips and holidays than political campaigns. Poonawalla alleged that Rahul Gandhi only did a formal event in Kota to send a message of support to students and then went on a long leave. He said that Rahul Gandhi's visit to Patna and Bihar, which was the next stop in the Congress's'Students'Goonj'campaign, was also cancelled. The BJP spokesperson claimed that the Congress only uses students'issues for political gains, while it has nothing to do with the real problems of students. Responding to the BJP's allegations, Congress national secretary Abhishek Dutt said that the country wants answers on the theft of offerings at the Ayodhya Ram temple.
