BJP Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla Resigns Amid Emotional Distress

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has resigned from the party. He said that it was extremely emotional for me that the party refused to accept my resignation immediately and requested me to reconsider my decision. But after long deliberation and serious thought, I have taken the final decision that I want to take a decision to relieve myself from my post of national spokesperson and active primary membership of the BJP. Poonawalla shared the letter of resignation and said, "The events of the last few days, the persons I have briefed you about in detail, have forced me to stand firm on my earlier decision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Party President Nitin Nabin, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Secretary General of Organization बी.एल. Without any hurt feelings towards senior leaders like Santosh, with only gratitude, love, affection and highest respect, I once again submit my resignation.
