(By Fazal Chauhan) Wadhwan: તા.ર9 In Surendranagar, AAP and Congress have been decimated in the local body elections. Surendranagar was contesting local body elections but this local body election was a three-way fight. BJP candidates have won Taluka Panchayat, Zila Panchayat and Municipal Corporation and Municipal Corporation. BJP has won all the seats. Surendranagar Municipal Corporation elections were held for the first time in which 52 candidates have won, out of which 51 have won from the Bharatiya Janata Party and only one woman Congress candidate has won in ward number eight. In this regard, Surendranagar's first Municipal Corporation has been formed by the BJP. In Surendranagar district, out of the total 32 Zila Panchayat seats going to the polls, BJP has won 31 Zila Panchayat seats and Congress has won only one seat. BJP has won 142 seats out of the total 180 seats in this Una Taluka Panchayat and Congress has won only 25 seats. AAP has won 07 seats and 06 Taluka Municipal Corporations, out of which BJP has won 24 seats.
