BJP Sweeps Rajasthan Mayoral Elections, Wins Big in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Kota

Rajasthan mayoral election results: BJP wins big in three major municipal corporations (Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota). BJP wins 9 out of 10 municipal corporations in the state. BJP mayoral candidates Sunil Kothari in Jaipur, Prasesh Mehta in Jodhpur and Anusuiya Goswami in Kota have won the mayoral elections. The result of Sri Vijayanagar Municipal Council in Sri Ganganagar district, which was earlier withheld, will also be declared today. The election process will be completed in 308 out of 309 municipal bodies in Rajasthan. BJP's Anusuiya Goswami has become the mayor of Kota. According to reports, Congress councillors cross-voted in Kota Municipal Corporation. BJP got 65 votes and Congress got 35 votes. Four Congress councillors voted in favour of BJP. Congress councillors got 65 votes, while BJP got 35 votes. Two independent councillors also got 39 votes. Congress councillors were cross-voted.
