BJP Unveils New Team of 65 Leaders, Including Returnees Smriti Irani and Ram Madhav

BJP president Nitin Navin on Monday (August 17) announced a new team of 65 leaders. Interestingly, this team has seen the return of leaders like Smriti Irani and Ram Madhav to the organisation. There are 13 names that the BJP has repeated. बी.एल. Santhosh continues to hold the post of organisation general secretary. Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Baijayant Jay Panda and Rekha Verma have been retained as vice-presidents. Vinod Tawde and Sunil Bansal are the only two national general secretaries that the BJP has retained in its new team. Anil Baluni, Saudan Singh, Tariq Mansoor, Shiv Prakash, Anil Antony, Tarun Chugh and Lal Singh Arya have been repeated. Social media convenor Amit Malviya, Abdullah Kutty, Laxmikant Bajpai and Radhamohan Das Agarwal have been dropped. The list includes 13 women. The BJP has taken special care of the electoral states. Four faces from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and two from the OBC list - Tariq Bhola, Harish Yadav and Smriti Irani - have been retained.
