BJP's Arjun Khataria Wins Kotdasangani Seat in Gujarat Zila Panchayat Elections

Rajkot તા.28: BJP candidate Shri Arjun Ghanshyambhai Khataria has won the Kotdasangani seat of the Zila Panchayat by 4965 votes. He has defeated Congress and AAP candidates. He has proved his personal popularity by being elected 4 times as a Congress candidate in the Zila Panchayat and the fifth time as a BJP candidate. He has become the senior-most member of the Zila Panchayat and a strong candidate for the post of President of the Panchayat. Rajkot has become the first time that a member of the Zila Panchayat has been elected for five consecutive terms. After being in Congress for years, he joined the BJP in early 2023. This time the Kotdasangani seat was declared reserved. He sought a ticket. He finally got a ticket after the last minute uncertainty due to the three-term criteria in the BJP. He has won 4965 votes. He has been elected 4 times from one party and the fifth time from another party is a historic event in Gujarat politics.
