BJP's Dilip Ghosh Files Nomination Papers for Kharagpur Sadar Seat

He is a former MP from Midnapore. He is also a former MLA from Kharagpur Sadar. The party has re-nominated Dilip Ghosh, a former state president of the BJP. He is contesting the Kharagpur Sadar seat with Rs 3.5 lakh cash. Dilip Ghosh, 61, filed his nomination papers on Saturday. He also submitted his affidavit along with his assets. Dilip Ghosh said he has Rs 3.5 lakh cash. Rinku Majumdar, his wife, has Rs 50,000, but no loans and jewellery. The former state president of the BJP said he is a full-time party worker and his wife has a business. 2024-25 His income in the financial year was Rs 13,46,800 and in the previous financial year was Rs 9,33,950. 2024-25 Dilip Ghosh is a voter of Kharagpur (2022). Apart from his ancestral house in Jhargram, he also has 34 acres of agricultural land in Jhargram (2022).
