BSP Leader Umashankar Singh Passes Away After Long Illness

Very sad news has come out for the politics of Uttar Pradesh and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). MLA from Rasda assembly seat of Ballia district and senior BSP leader Umashankar Singh has passed away after a long illness. When the Bahujan Samaj Party had a very poor performance in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Umashankar Singh was the only candidate who had won from the Rasda seat of Ballia on the BSP symbol. He was known for his strong hold and public service in the region by winning from the Rasda assembly seat continuously. Along with politics, Umashankar Singh was also a very successful businessman. His construction company'Chhatra Shakti Construction'is considered to be one of the big and leading construction companies of Uttar Pradesh. His company has a big name in the field of infrastructure and road construction. BSP supremo and former UP Chief Minister Mayawati expressed deep grief over the demise of her party MLA.
