CBSE Introduces AI-Based Exam for Counsellors and Wellness Teachers

New Delhi: CBSE Board is now going to test the ability of not only students but also their mentors in a modern way. Under this initiative, which is considered a milestone in the education world, it has now become mandatory for counsellors and wellness teachers working in schools to pass an AI-based online exam. More than 10,000 professionals from CBSE affiliated schools across the country are participating in this process starting from February 2026. This is not a simple written exam, but a state-of-the-art assessment through the DIGI-EXAM platform, which tests the ability of counsellors to make realistic decisions and ethics. The biggest feature of this exam is its'AI Proctoring'system. Candidates can take this exam from their own homes, but AI technology monitors the movement of every candidate in real-time. If there is any malpractice or cheating attempt on the part of the children, the system is not only sensitive to the objective of the exam, but also ensures transparency.
