Ceasefire Agreed Between Tehran, US, and Israel Amid Ongoing Attacks

Tehran, Iran, the United States, and Israel have agreed to a two-week ceasefire. Sporadic attacks were reported in Iran and the Gulf on Wednesday, hours after the ceasefire was announced. US Vice President J. D. Vance has called the deal a disaster. Amid renewed attacks, it is difficult to say how long the deal will last. Shortly after the ceasefire was announced, missile sirens were heard in Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. There have been attacks on Iran's Lavan Island oil refinery. Iran exports oil and gas from the island. Even before the new strikes, the two sides have presented a different picture of the agreement. It is unclear if Iran has been allowed to pass on formal charges from the Gulf.
