Children Fall into Open Drain in Delhi During Heavy Rains, Rescued by Bystanders

In yet another incident of administrative negligence in the midst of rains in the capital Delhi, three innocent children returning home from school in Jagatpur village under Wazirabad police station suddenly fell into an open drain on the roadside. The whole incident was recorded on the CCTV camera installed there. It was a matter of relief that with the vigilance of the people present on the spot and an auto driver, the three children were rescued in time. According to the information, due to the continuous rain in Delhi, there was heavy waterlogging in many areas including Jagatpur. The open drain near the Integrated Entry Gate of Jagatpur was also completely filled with water. It was difficult to identify where the road was ending and the drain was starting above the road and the drain. The three children were returning to their home after the school holidays. CCTV footage shows that the children were walking on the road in a normal way. Suddenly their balance broke and they fell into the drain within a few seconds.
