Cockroach Janata Party Protesters Defy Rain and Police, Gain Political Support

The protesters of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) stayed at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for the whole night despite heavy rains and tight security arrangements. The protesters are continuously protesting for their various demands including improvement in education and examination system. Just a day ago, the protesters had taken out a march to Parliament. During this, there was a tense situation between the police and the protesters and the police took action to stop the march. Even after this, the protesters did not back down and continued their agitation at Jantar Mantar. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and former Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has given a big statement about the movement. She said that if needed, she will also join the protest of Cockroach Janata Party. This statement of Mamata Banerjee is being seen as a political support to the movement. After her statement, the political discussion on this issue has intensified. She, however, did not specify when and in what form she will join the protest.
