Congress Announces Candidates for West Bengal Assembly Elections, Contesting Alone

West Bengal Assembly Election Congress Candidates List: Congress has played a big political game by deciding to contest alone for the political battle of West Bengal. Congress party has announced its candidates for 284 seats. Congress has made a big move by keeping away from the Left parties in the battle of 2026. After the entry of Humayun Kabir's new party and Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM, once close to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in the Bengal elections, Congress has tried to revive itself in Bengal by using both its cadre vote bank and Muslim vote bank. The list has fielded Bhupendra Nath from Malda, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Baharampur, Pradeep Prasad from Bhabanipur and Mausam Noor from Malatipur seat. Harihar Rai has got a chance from Dinhata. Recently, Malda's influential leader Mausam Noor left TMC and joined Congress, giving a positive signal to Congress.
