Congress Appoints New Leaders in Uttar Pradesh Ahead of State Elections

The Congress high command made a major change in UP. Party MLA from Rampur Khas Aradhana Mishra was appointed as the new UP president. With this, Ajay Rai has been removed from this post. On Friday (October 2), the Congress president appointed new office bearers of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect. Imran Masood was appointed as the working president. Devinder Nishad and Alok Prasad were given the responsibility of senior vice presidents. The party appreciated the contribution of Ajay Rai. Apart from this, the Congress president also approved the proposal to appoint Chaudhary Virendra Singh as the leader of the Congress Legislative Party in Uttar Pradesh with immediate effect. These appointments have been made before the assembly elections in UP next year. The picture is clear from this appointment that the Congress is eyeing half of the population and the Brahmin vote. Aradhana Mishra is the daughter of Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari. Pramod Tiwari is among the big Brahmin leaders in UP. Aradhana is the leading female face of the UP Congress. The leader of the Congress party in the UP assembly has also met the MLA from Allahabad University.
